If there is one thing that makes people nuts is the insurance cost on toys being excessively higher than vehicles driven everyday on the road. Even if you have the rest of your insurance with the same company, the prices seem to be way too high. One company seems to have taken the bite out of the high prices we pay to play.

My sled is a 1996 Formula SS 670. The average cost for liability, fire and theft was approximately $325  /year. After hunting around, I got the shock of my life with a quote of $190 with a $100 deductible. The company is TD General Insurance. Those who are tired of the high rates can give them a call at 1-866-454-8910 and get a quote. Apparently they insure all sorts of toys for those who like to play.
