As times change, so does technology. Electronics and water? Who ever thought? One such company which integrated this technology is Rheem / Ruud. The water heater model goes by the name” Guardian Power Vent”. The control on the front of the water heater is called “Intelli-Vent” made by White Rogers.
This control works quite well and very accurate. When something does go wrong, the flashing codes that show on the front of the control can be referenced to a general chart usually listed on the side of the water heater.
